This is how it all started for me years go, no problem falling asleep at 10pm and waking at 3am....four years later, still a problem. I would stop looking towards cortisol and look at adrenaline more...3am wakening, ts a very common complaint.

It seems you are just starting the process of trying to figure it out, and youll find that there generally isnt an overnight cure with a pill or a potion, i spent years thinking there would be and mixing up millions of different herbs of pharma meds to try and get some sleep, I feel this was the problem why I am in a worse state now than I ever was, sp please be careful. And remember, although its hard to accept (trust me I know!) the stress you are working yourself up in over not sleeping is only adding to the problem, but if you are working (i was for years) the panic of not beng able to function at work outweighed the realisation of what taking a bunch of herbs would do to me over time.

When i was high cortisol, and many others report it such as Purple Pixie, I slept great and was always ready for life.
