Re: What's going on?
It sounds like it might be that you're just not handling stress as well as you used to. Did something tragic or extra stressful happen? Maybe you need extra energy to recover emotionally. If you started a new diet, you might not be getting the nutrients you did before. If you have an Iron defficiency, Vitamin B12 might help a lot. General health is important in
Depression because your body needs to be able to handle stress properly and, if it can't, you will FEEL "run down". Drinking the proper amount of water could possibly be all you need to get your body working properly (a half ounce for every pound of body weight, 130 pounds-65 ounces, 2 quarts). Digestion of SOLID food takes a lot energy. For now, it might help to drink vegetable juices because they don't require a lot of digestion (and don't drain so much energy from your body). They also are very healthy and you won't have to rely on solid food for nutrition. Crystallized Honey is also good for energy. If you are low on electrolytes, you can replenish them simply with one bottle of Gatorade, but it might also be helpful to be aware of anything new in your diet.
