Hi - About 9 years ago, I saw a homeopath who diagnosed me with gluten intolerance - she also put me on some Genestra brand candida supplement for a candida cleanse because that was giving me chronic problems...and I remember it did have Wormwood . I did lots of internet research on the effects of Wormwood , after I started feeling 'weird' - that's the best way for me to describe it - it made me both numb and melancholy...sort of numb to block the melancholia that came with it. So if you are wondering about what it feels like to take Wormwood , this is what it feels like. Kind of like a low 'high'. I can see how it might have been addictive, in the form of absinthe, and I've actually consumed the authentic, potent type of absinthe alcohol. And it made you feel like that too - numb but drunk. And I remember it always irritated my stomach, the two times I drank the authentic absinthe. So if you have sensitive digestion, and sensitive nerves, DO NOT TAKE WORMWOOD. You will feel weird and not well and you won't last on any cleanse that features this as part of the protocol. I have no experience with Black-Walnut or Cloves. As foods, I have no problems with generic walnuts or cloves. But I don't know what higher quantities would do - I mention these because they are part of Dr. Hulda Clark 's parasite cleanse protocol. I am currently working with a nutritional balancing coach, based out of Natural Health Protocol in B.C. Canada. She recommends I don't take the parasite cleanse herbs in favour of other balancing methods like coffee enemas, infra red saunas, and nutritional balancing and supplements. Hope this helps!
