Re: Will MMS get rid of Intestinal Candida/Yeast Overload?
the types of docs that will prescribe Nystatin are holistic, naturopathic, homeopathic. doctors that specialize in pediatric autism. you don't have to use Nystatin. in fact, it's possible it could make you worse. another poster says his naturopath says it makes candida burrow further in to the body where it is harder to treat. natural remedies will work. coconut oil is great, SF722 is great. for me, they made my kidneys hurt after a while. whereas Nystatin didn't. they also work systemically (whole body, intracellular) where Nystatin doesn't - only gut. You can look up the work of Dr. Stoll. He treated patients with Nystatin exclusively. Also Dr. Orion Truss.
Also here is a good essay on candida from a doctor. maybe you can get your doc to read it.

it doesn't talk about Nystatin though, but could educate them. the other problem you will have is getting enough Nystatin. you want at least 3 million units/day of the powder, or 6 tablets, for six months.
if you can't get it, don't sweat it - lots of ppl have gotten better without it. the most important piece of getting the candida #'s down, is diet. no sugar, nothing starchy/sweet for a long time.
