Cold sores are caused by herpes viruses.

Your immunity is compromised, and your digestion, that is why the herpes virus keeps breaking up.
You have to heal your intestines, your digestion, in order to heal your lips.

Get rid of sugar, industrially processed foods and sulfites from your diet, they have negative effect on your immunity and your digestion.

Consider Fecal Microbiota Transplantation Therapy ( FMT ) .

Have you maybe used orral Antibiotics 4-6 months ago, the time when your peeling lips started? If yes, that is the trigger and the main causative cofactor.


Immunity comes from healthy digestion. Once you messup your digestion with junk foods, Antibiotics and medications, your immunity is poor and herpes can easily get the upper hand.


To grow and spread, viruses of the herpes family require the amino acid arginine.

Avoid arginine-rich foods. Arginine-rich foods include chocolate, almonds, peanuts, gelatin, and grains, including but not limitig to corn, wheat and oats. All grains ar high on arginine and low on lysine, even rice, and that feeds the herpes virus.

Consider no-grains diet like paleo diet for some time. Buckwheat is not a grain and is low on arginine, can be used instead of wheat.

Try to add some brewer's yeast and milk products to your diet, they are both rich in lysine, an amino acid that counteracts arginine.

Keep your stress level down. Physical and emotional stress are well-known causes for herpes-related flare-ups. Doing breathing exercises at home, or practicing meditation, yoga, or tai chi will likely reduce your stress and help you deal with herpes.


Avoid foods containing sulfites .

Why are Sulfites Added to Medications?

Sulfites are added to some medications for their antioxidant properties as well as the prevention of browning of medications. Sulfites are added to injectable epinephrine (such as in the Epi-Pen) to prevent browning, which decreases the effectiveness of the drug. However, epinephrine has not been reported to cause adverse reactions in people with sulfite allergy, and should not be withheld in an allergic emergency. Injectable epinephrine may prove life saving in people with sulfite allergy experiencing anaphylaxis.

Some inhaler solutions used to treat asthma contain Sulfites.



Consider Liver Flush as atherapy, once you sorted your herpes problem.
