Great post! Thank you so much. Apnea is always a concern for snorers too. It is a growing problem with potentially serious outcomes. I always underscore the importance of considering a sleep study when snoring is enough of an issue to be a disruption in the home. Mouthpieces can work wonders too, although I was unable to use them...my mouth was very sensitive to the presence of a foreign object. I just couldn't get used to it and fall asleep. I found that a chinstrap worked very well. It repositioned my jaw, retraining it to maintain a position that minimized snoring. It keeps the lower jaw from slipping back. I've used it for a number of years now.
