Re: Question for Faith110 re: food sensitivity

Honestly, I really know nothing about the failsafe diet, but I have read some of Faith's other posts and I have read the original poster's problems and my understanding of what she is recommending is foods that will have the least possible reactions for someone that seems to react to everything. Therefore, white basmati rice would be better than brown rice, because brown rice has been shown to have somewhat high levels of arsenic, also the germ in the brown rice, although it may have some beneficial properties, can give some people a mild reaction, this is removed in white basmati rice. White potatoes also contain a somewhat high amount of certain toxins, which again for someone that is having a reaction to everything may not be ideal, sweet potatoes would be a better choice in my opinion. Sorry if I am missing the point of the failsafe diet, just trying to use what I know that could be of some benefit.
