Re: First Timer Here!
Hey,
Thanks for the advice, I think I'll try using more salt...even though can't stand the taste of that stuff enough! I'm on day six now and I still feel fine. My tounge isn't coated yet so I'm kind of wondering what the hold-up is. I went to the Folk Life festival in Seattle and there are all these DELICIOUS foods from all these different cultures there. It was so tempting, but I found that the smell of the foods was enough satisfaction. And I figured most of it would be so much grease and animal products that I'd probably have hurled it all. I've pretty much told my rooommate to eat everything in the house so I don't get tempted. I even gave her my cookies! I seem to be weening myself off of
Sugar so I don't crave it. I just crave some variety, but I don't know if it's ok to drink other juices while I'm on the fast. I think my weight is pretty stable for now, and as long as I get at least 12 hours of sleep at the same time every night I think I should start to build back up my energy level. Exercising (surprisingly enough) seems to help pep me up too. It's just finding the time to do it that's the challenge. I plan to try to go the maximum, at least 30 days. I really just want to be healthy, have more energy throughout the day, get better sleep, have better blood circulation. I once went to have my blood pressure checked and the person said I was practically dead, and I get cold a lot so I need to work on my blood circulation. I have hay fever too, so I'd like to find a natural way (without using drugs that have me stoned all day) of curing that. I'd also like to improve my mental capacity as well. Overall I want to be SUPER! After it's all over I don't think I'll have much of a problem at all eating healthier, I've developed a new-found appreciation for healthy eating. Thanks for the reply. Peace.
