Yup, that's exactly what I'm talking about. The buildup for me does come back, but not like it did before I started using Bepanthen. Lips are sensitive and shiny where there is no buildup. This means our stratum corneum is missing. The stratum corneum on the lips is very very thin though compared to other parts of the body. Maybe this is why it is so difficult to get skin to grow back normally on our lips. I'm half tempted to try some Psoriasis treatments soon, like Dovonex. Tweet
