It might be harder to correct a deficiency is one has a fat malabsorption problem. It seems like some treatment might be necessary for the fat malabsorption problem for the vitamin A to absorb. I am more confident with my problem associated with celiac disease since a gluten-free diet eventually fixes the problem so vitamin A can be more easily absorbed.
