Thanks. Are you referring to the daily requirement or the higher intake one needs to correct a Vitamin A deficiency? I guess I need to convert 5,000 IU and 50,000 IU, which are units. Or I will ask the nutritionist. I have no idea how many IU (units) equal 1 cup. Oh, I am also going to ask her if you can overdose on Vitamin A in supplement form if you have a deficiency. Although the supplement I am taking is 10,000 IU, 5,000 is in Vitamin A and 5,000 is in beta-carotene. But, I need 50,000 IU of beta-carotene per day...according to my vitamin analysis report. I am not sure if others with a greater vitamin A deficiency than me would require a higher intake since my deficiency was not that low. Another question for the nutritionist.
