I just looked at food containing Vitamin A and it seems that it should be very easy to get more than your daily dose of it through food alone. The site talks about 1 mg being the minimum dose / day needed. 100 g of carrots contain almost 8 mg (well, beta-carotene). And that's just one example. And if you eat it via plant food, you can't get overdosed, I think.
