Hey Sargvy, while using the Bepanthen, did it stop the build up and leave your lips raw? I've been using the Bepanthen wound ointment and it leaves parts of my bottom lip raw and keeps the build up down on other parts. The parts that are raw are NOT inflamed though. They are not swollen or red, just no skin growing. They are however a little sensitive to the touch as there is no stratum corneum for protection. The skin looks just like the inner mucosa of the mouth, which I believe it is. Normal lips however have a thin stratum corneum covering this type of skin for protection.

Were your lips ever like this at one point and then the stratum corneum eventually grew back in normal? I think I'll take a picture soon so you may be able to see what I'm talking about. Tweet
