Can oregano oil eat away the gums?

Oregano oil is strong. Is it dangerous to do a constant contact with it? wet gauze with one drop of oregano oil directly on the abscess held in the mouth and changed out regularly?

I am seeing white where before there was healthy gum above the non infected tooth. The infection is starting with # 13. the abscess formed above 11. now the gum area above 12 has two white spots that I can not tell if it is bone. Is this possible? I am worried that the oregano oil was so strong it killed tissue. ..
11 and 12 are healthy teeth and the infection is not in the sinus area re:xray. Tweet
