Re: Peter Tosh- The Day the Dollar Die

Not really prophetic, inflation at that time was ramping up to what some including myself assumed would go parabolic. I instead of joining the silver and gold rush decided to leverage my meager resources by putting a dollar down for a VA loan to buy real estate assuming it could be paid off in hyper-inflated dollars later. At the moment I bit the rate I was offered was 16% which was bought down to 14% by adding around 10% into the base amount of the loan. Long story short I let it foreclose in 1983 when I could have only resold it for a little more than 1/2 the loan balance and interest had come back to down along with the price of silver and gold.

Won't get fooled again?
