Re: Can my fish give my family bacteria/parasites?

I have always wondered why anyone buys the beta fish? Out of all the pet fish a person can buy, the beta seems to be the sadest fish of them all.

Anyway, your fish poop and all its bacteria are in your lungs, on your furniture, etc.

Look at it this way; when you flush your toilet, a scientist can find your bacteria in your food cabinets and in every square inch of your house. Now imagine those who take their home air and pump it into their aquariums and blow the air back into their house!!!!! To have a bird in the house is equaly as bad.

To live in a house is to remove 1/2 our lifespan easily!
