Trampolining

Hmmm...
This past November the insurance company made us get rid of our large trampoline. Prior to that, I could jump on it for a long time, no problem. It's fun for a while, then it gets boring if you're by yourself, so I would count. I would do 300 or 400 jumps. I could have kept on going, except for the boredom. I would do the 300 jumps 2 or 3 times a day, when I could. If anything, I felt MORE energized after jumping. It's fun to go flying into the air!

I am surprised you think 50 or 500 is a lot of jumps. When on a good small rebounder, I can jump for a long, long time - as long as I am watching something interesting like a DVD. No big deal.

Prior to that, I hadn't been jumping consistently for the past 7 or 8 years, having been out of town most of the time. But when I was a kid, my 2 siblings and I would all jump together, sometimes with neighbors or friends, too. We invented dozens of games we would play. Our FAVORITE which we have even played as adults (!) is the spit game. We get loogies or big blobs of spit and spit them onto the trampoline, while we all jump in a circle. We are barefoot, of course, and have to avoid the spit. As we continue, there are more and more spit blobs! Plus we are laughing like crazy. In the end, it's really gross, and we get off, hose down the trampoline, and go inside.
Good memories...
