Re: Palm Oil...
Yes, our family loves to play board games. We just got a new one last week, "Loaded Questions" ($1.50 used at a local thrift shop) that is perhaps one of the most fun games we have - it fits right up there with Guesstures, Taboo, and Scattergories!
My aunt, uncle and adult cousins are all really into health stuff (they are vegetarians), so getting together for a meal with them is fun, delicious and healthy. We compare notes, knowledge, ideas. They have served me some v. v. v. very tasty raw dishes such as curried kale, macadamia dandelion leaves, and spicy jicama strips.
One time my aunt and I did a liver flush together. We LOVE to talk about our bowel movements and all such things...
2 weeks ago we got together with all my relatives, so we decided to make pizzas. We had two healthy pizzas: a loaded vegetable pizza (spinach, eggplant, broccoli, peppers, onions, mushrooms, no cheese), a pesto artichoke fresh tomato pizza (no cheese except in the pesto); plus 6 other pizzas, like chicken artichoke, mexican (topped with guacamole and pico de gallo), supreme, pepperoni olive, and of course 2 pepperoni. (Some of our relatives are bland unhealthy eaters who wouldn't touch healthy with a 10-foot pole).
There was also a raw broccoli-apple-raisin salad.
It turned out well. Everyone was eating pizza. But they could have the types they wanted. The pesto ended up being the most popular!
I prefer staying home and eating to going out, but most people I know want to go out. So I do, sometimes - other times I just stay home and do my own thing (like tonight).
It's all good...
