I agree. Carbs/sugar are bad for me, raise my blood Sugar and make me sleepy even if not in junk food. Plus most fiber causes me serious pain. An apple or broccoli leaves me doubled over for hours and if I've lost enough of my mind to eat bread it can hurt for days.
Along with finding the proper supplements we each have to find the foods that trigger symptoms. What is 'healthy' for one might not be for another.
In my experience, if dehydration is an issue salt pushes help. At least 3-4 per day at first until your eyes and tongue aren't dry and swollen. I also add some salt to my drinking water.
