I was over in Clear Lake today a suburb of Houston getting components at an electronic surplus store and thought I would stop in at Williams Coin in the area and pick up a modest amount of silver mainly just to see what's up as far as premiums and availability. Mr Williams had a sign taped to his door saying, "Closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday, first time in 30 years", no further explanation. He is a fixture in the Houston precious metals market having seen it all from the fall of the late 70's bull through today, I can't imagine a more knowledgable man in the Houston area especially since the owner of the next longest running shop in the Houston area, Houston Numismatic Exchange passed away nearly two years ago now. What do you think the old man thinks he knows?
