Re: Intestinal Fungal Candida

Doctors confuse disseminated candidiasis with non disseminated candidiasis.
The first is what HIV, and chemo and certain immune modulators give you. Candida everywhere, guts, lungs, mouth, skin, etc
The second is when the Candida yeast morphs into a pathogenic fungus. 'Mycelial Candida'. This is the one that causes IBS, hives, dyshidrosis, the leaky gut and other interesting conditions, including probably lupus and psoriasis. It is not 'overgrowth', it is a change of status from a yeast to a fungus, and is usually steroid/hormonally mediated. Puberty, the Pill, pregnancy and pumping iron are major causes.
The cure is very very simple: 2 consecutive courses of Nystatin, in drops, 5 drops x 4 times a day = 2million units. The die off is awful, but the Candida is killed, and it's spores killed as they hatch/bud. Your treatments, probiotics, garlic, etc reduce the breeding numbers, but fail to kill off all the yeasts and fungi. You need to do the Nystatin.
I study this in relation to Dyshidrosis.
