Personally, I don't think it's very good. I've been using it for recipes and salad dressings while on my raw diet and I don't think it's much better than regular refined sugar.
I had one small hole in the top of my tooth that has now become a cavity. The molar behind it now has 2 similar holes in the top which may very well become cavities. I had a little stone in some raisins I was eating and it chipped a piece off one of my molars.
I never had this problem before when I was using maple syrup.
