Re: SCIENCE: What is biliary sludge?

I was admitted into the ICU with elevated lipase levels, 39,000. Due to what they thought were gallstone obstructions. No Stones on MRI but was told there is sludge. It's been two weeks since being released and I am still have some discomfort. Is it wise to flush? Or is there some protocol to follow after acute pancreatitis?
