New Plant Extract to Replace SSRI Drugs?

Three out of 5 doctors' visits are related to Depression and stress, and doctors and patients alike are raving over this new "weapon", as one nutritionist friend called it, that just may take over the antidepressive market once people find out it's available.

It's Seroctin, a natural extract derived from Zea Mays, a grass plant member of Gramineae. Seroctin is unique in that it can optimize the secretion of both of the hormones serotonin and melatonin, a balance of which is important to sleep, mood, well-being, and repair and regeneration during deep sleep.

I think the melatonin may be the missing ingredient in other anti-depressives. This answers the need for improved sleep patterns AS WELL AS producing a calming effect during the day.

Together, adequate levels of serotonin and melatonin address weight issues, anxiey, and Depression and SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). With Seroctin, optimal serotonin levels are not exceeded, unlike using the ham-handed anti-depressants that also interfere with some of the body's other hormone levels such as adrenalin.

Seroctin does not have unwanted effect, so it may thus replace SSRIs, MAO inhibitors, and tricyclic antidepressants. The melatonin analog works as a powerful antioxidant, sleep inducing neurotransmitter and anti-aging hormone; it even reduces homocysteine, and also prostate size in elderly men. With growth hormone output at night elevated due to improved deep sleep, recovery is improved, mood, immune system, myalgia, to name a few... an impressive gain indeed for some people.

There's more information on my website. Although I have about 36 clients on the product who wouldn't trade it for anything, I don't make a dime on the sales. This is just a bit of free information from a health consultant.
