Not for water fasters! But when you are eating, as normal.
On a water fast, brushing with the DE would be great. Ideal, it sems to me. I don't like to introduce the effect -or taste- of baking soda, but this is like a little bit of clay, tastes like nothing much, and you rinse it out. Your body might grab a tiny bit of minerals from it, but nothing to be concerned about.
(edit--I can attest to some of the great effects of drinking DE , btw. First one being, much stronger fingers, and a small bit of arthitis gone! And then, more energy, and on and on.
I've been taking about a tsp or more a day for the last almost a month--and plan to keep on doing this, daily.
(when not water fasting, that is)
