Amy- I haven't had much of an improvement yet with my low iron levels but I also eat lots of red meat and really feel better when I do. I have also been having liver twice per week and that just gives me incredible energy.
This may not pertain to you but a chronic infection can cause low iron levels. The body withholds the iron so it does not fuel the infection. My ferritin and RBC are always low normal on blood tests but I am hoping the increase of copper in my program will correct this.
