"The "J" sound did not exsist back then. Most people think Jesus was his first name, Christ was his last name, and some believe H. was his middle initial. People are funny.

Yahshua, Joshua, and Jesus all have the same meaning-Savior. Spellings and pronunciations have changed as languages have changed.
Christ means the anointed one, it has the same meaning as Messiah.

Jesus Christ means the Anointed (by God) Savior.
