Tomatoes / Where to live
Hi Sofia. I was just typing a long post and then my browser crashed, so here is the shorter version:
Those summertime tomatoes we grow at home in the Southern USA are unlike any other tomatoes we can get our hands on. I imagine the tomatoes in Italy in summer are similar, or even better!
As far as where to live, I would suggest Malaysia. I know it sounds odd but that's the best suggestion I have. I've traveled rather extensively and that's the best I have come up with. I have never been to South America so I am not familiar with the options there.
Malaysia is an incredibly peaceful Muslim country (unlikely that it would be attacked by muslims). English is spoken a lot there, that helps. It is tropical. It is reasonably developed. It's no 3rd world country.
Those are the main points. I've been to Malaysia several times. While I'm not in a hurry to live there at the moment, I would certainly consider it in the future. Just an idea! Singapore is excellent, more comfortable to the westerner, however it is one big city and I believe you would want to live on some land and be able to grow things instead of living in an apartment building, that is why I suggest Malaysia. Just for thought!
