first of all you are not a carnivore (lions, tigers etc) you are an omnivore.
Second, fasting is not the best way to lose weight, because this greatly lowers the metabolic-rate, and so you burn far fewer calories. The body preserves food reserves in an effort to avoid actual starvation.
Third, most all chronic disease is diet-related, so if you choose to live on junk food in between fasts that is your choice, but you are making yourself wide open to serious degenerative chronic diseases such as cancers in the long term if not in the short term.
Nutrition has nothing to do with calories except to make sure you do not lose or gain weight and despite what Mainstream Nutritionists/Doctors will brainwash you with. This is why curezone exists, because of the success !!!!! of Allopathic Medicine.
Fourthly, and as someone else has advised you in this thread, the best way of losing weight is to change your lifestyle eating habits (all diets work and of course all diets fail). Eat as much as you like or need on the Nutritarian way of eating: a low calorie but nutrient-dense way of eating.
Fifthly, meat isn't essential for health, because you receive all of the human nutrition you need from a plant-based diet. One point of view is that it is only meat that provides the protein you need, but beef protein is not human protein: human protein comes from amino acids, and where all 8 of the essentials are contained with many plant-based foods. Digesting beef to break it down into amino-acids for human digestion and absorption takes alot more energy than it gives. A silverback gorilla for example is mostly vegan, but could toss you over the street with just one finger.
You also need to educate yourself on the merits of detoxification and preventing toxemia.
