I did a search using "povidone" and "bath"

because I remembered Trapper saying something about using it in his bath. I just wasn't sure if it was povidone, and I couldn't remember how much he used - but - sure enough:

Now, look at the date; these were the early days of this forum. I don't know if he feels the same way about povidone, but it still sounds like a good way (to me) about "countering" the fluoride and/or chlorine that might be in your bathwater if nothing else!
