You're doing the watercure concurrently with Iodine supplementation? How much salt are you ingesting per day...? And it's kind of difficult to find a cause/effect thingie when you're doing both at once...

A few ideas...

Pause the Iodine and give your kidneys a break:

And also, some folks find it quite helpful to "pulse" the dose of iodine, that is, 5 days on, 2 off, 4 days on, 3 off or some variation thereof. Companion nutrients are continued at this time.

You say that the salt-loading is helping, but you also say that you're puffy and fatigued... so in what way is the salt-loading helping?

The salt-loading protocol was developed specifically, early in this century, to assist the body in clearing bromide excess and many, many posters have found relief using this procedure.

There are other ways of finding relief from detox though and it's quite possible that in this case the cure is contributing to the problem.

If I were you I would try a few variations of the protocol, pulse the dose as I suggested, try stopping everything and ONLY doing salt pushes... this is not an exact Science and there are many ways of doing this, you'll have to find YOUR way.

There have been many many reports on this forum that upping the dose eliminates most, if not all, detox symptoms. There is historical precedent that supports these empirical findings:

Iodine should be taken in the AM, or spaced out throughout the day. Too late in the day can keep you awake:)
