Re: Please give your opinion/experience: high fruit diet for candida and other health issues
Slightly more detailed explanation here:
http://www.raw-food-health.net/Candida-Cleanse.html
In terms of juices- juices are refined foods (especially in terms of fruit it can be bad news, apple juice being a good example) - hence juices are not part of 80/10/10 plan, because body's response to isolates, especially refined sugars (juices being isolates due to lack of fibre) is very different than when consuming whole foods. Yes, refined sugars cause
Sugar spikes- and candida flares up to remove the excess. This wouldn't happen in case of a whole apple- as fibre alters the process.
It's also important to remember that immune system issues play a part as well, overconsumption of meds, causing lack of friendly bacteria- all what you're saying is true indeed. But the problem will persist in case of high blood sugar- hence addressing that issue by lowering fat intake removes the problem.
From my experience 80/10/10 addressed many other issues I was struggling with before and helped me achieve a pretty robust immune system (I forgot what it's like to even have a cold or flu- last time it was about 6 years ago).
The reason I'm saying that is that it's important to look at the bigger picture- healthy, robust body is able to deal with occasional problem. When I started this journey years ago I was concentrating on small elements- I was on a standard 'candida diet' at one point I remember, getting more and more tired, not realising I'm starving myself from nutrients and getting my immune system go downhill.
Do you mean McDougal style by standard cooked 801010?
