Re: Metronidazole... aka flagyl for fasciola infection..
Hi Aleksandr,
Thank you for the link. I think I will try to order some of that. I tried to the other day I just never finished thru with it.
About the battery charger I don't know if it is a good idea for you to try it. The lowest setting seemed to work the best, having it at 12 volts and 2 amps. Initially I had such a great response to it. I did kill many flukes, especially the ones located in a liver cyst that I had. I knew exactly where they were and stuck the leads right up to the mass and cyst. This killed most of the flukes within the cyst, if not all of them and some within the area as well.
The strange thing about what happened was the treatment didn't kill all of the flukes. I had some in multiple areas at that time. For the ones it didn't kill it caused them to spread into different areas. More towards my head. I tried using the charger in different areas and it never ever killed them like it did the first time. I never saw one fluke die from my trying to shock them except the one time. I tried increasing the charger to it's highest setting and still nothing. Now they are very resilient and hard to kill. I don't know what changed or how they could get accustomed to something like that.
I personally feel that it made them more difficult to treat somehow. I wish I had more answers. If I had it to do over again I don't think I would have because it really caused them to explore more and search for new places. But this is only my experience. It would be nice if the medicine worked and killed all of the flukes. Then the shock treatments wouldn't be necessary. I wish the charger was 100% effective. If it was I would have blogged about it, for some reason it didn't work after the one time. Thank you very much for the website.
