Re: Mostly agree but private forum "owners" aren't Gods & don't really own the forums
Yes, I agree that there have been rare situations like that. In reality, however, both moderators and posters often fail to follow all the
TOS and all the rules. Nothing is set in stone and now with all the posters coming here from Facebook etc., Curezone has gotten more like the rest of the internet.
When people have their posts hidden that they've taken the time to write and they get banned and they can't see that they've done anything wrong, they feel upset. Ideally, moderators would be sensitive to this. It's a judgment call and everyone's judgment is different.
Webmaster seems to be pretty tolerant overall. For example, there's at least one private forum where for a long time, the moderator has rarely answered a post. I don't lose any sleep over these things because (thankfully) I'm not responsible for running this website.
Either way, I think that when people grumble amongst themselves, it doesn't help. It's similar to the workplace. People can either complain amongst themselves and waste time or take their issue to their boss and try to come up with a workable solution. Ultimately, we don't always get what we want. That's just life.
