Have you ever tried Miracle II products? I used their soap on my face for years. It doesn't have any scents or essential oils in it. They also have a neutralizer and a lotion you might be interested in. Like the other poster mentioned, washing in water can be enough once your health is on track. Have you ever tried putting olive oil or coconut oil on your face as a moisturizer?
Perhaps if you can't use soaps then you could try washing in seasalt water. You could make a warm brine mixture of sea salt in water, and soak your face in that for several minutes (blowing out gently through your nose, coming up for air, then soaking more), gently rubbing and rinsing in that water.
Another thing to consider might be brewing some tea (green tea, black tea) and using that to wash your face. It has some astrigent properties I understand, as well as mildly antibacterial maybe?
I'm just tossing out some ideas. I'm interested to see MH's reply.
