Ok. So, when I think of Cayenne, I think of the specific pepper as each pepper has its own name. Yet, in so much of the posts, etc, it seems to encompass any hot pepper and not the cayenne pepper exclusively.
Well, I don't have any cayenne peppers but I have half a case of habs left and I wanted to make some tincture with it.
Should I dehydrate them, or just throw them whole and fresh into my Vitamix? It was all very confusing..
Also, I have some 100 proof left but have a whole bottle of 80 proof. 80 proof is okay too though, right?
If I am going to dehydrate, I'd like to get them going now..
