Take the cherry at night time as opposed to morning.
For the dry hair, obviously it is a related to hypothyroidism. But another lesser know bit is that the colon is responsible for reabsorbing water from food intake. For some people water can actually work to dehydrate you by throwing off salt ratios. Try drinking more things like soups or juices (anything that you feel goes down easily and is absorbed)
Maybe even take a bit more taurine, split into two doses.
