I read the Moser before I did my first water fast. Had forgotten that---thanks for posting. It too made a big impression on me; was an important part of a great unloosening from the ignorance-and-dependency paradigm of putting one's body into the hands of others who are trained to manage levels of sickness, rather than to *know* what good health truly is. Prior to that fast I could not have imagined not eating for 29 days, and actually thriving on water. That was how long I made it. Since then, I've gotten healthier -- and happier than I've been in, maybe my whole life.
Shocking, but true.
