wound healing

i was doing a bit of research on wound healing since that is my current experiment. i have always known that keeping wounds moist allows them to better heal but never really knew why. i found this very interesting. many on here (including myself) tried the leave it alone experiment because we thought that it was better that the scab formed to allow the skin underneath to heal. and that keeping it moist is bad because the scabs dont form as well and exfoliate easily. but my research has shown that it is actually much better to keep them because scabs forming is BAD. among other things. here is a very simple link.

many people on here may already know this but many on here have also done the leave it alone experiment for the reason that the scab stays on.
