Re: What's a good Curcumin product?

I tried curcumin and it gave me a lot of GI distress. It is a spicy herb that can be a little hard on the gut for some. I could see the herb overstimulating the liver at higher doses because of its bile stimulating properties. Probably one of the reasons why its anti-microbial is because of its bile stimulating effect. Did you ever try bile salts with good results?

As far as a anti-inflammatory goes I like Boswellia better. It did not upset my gut like curcumin, but the only problem with boswellia is that it made me feel groggy. Boswellia has been known to have mild sedative effects. I think boswellia does have some anti-fungal properties as well.
