Re: fasciola gigantica and zappers??
DMSO is dimethylsufloxide. In the midst of confusion and desperation I mixed albendazole with it. DMSO is unique in that in can bind to certain drugs and medicine and carry it into the cells. Alot of it's use has been with certain chemotherapy drugs. I wouldn't recommend using it to treat fasciolasis. But, I used what I had at the time. But, while the flukes moved to different areas of where I put the dmso, aside from that I don't think it actually affected them that much. I am interested in the whole zapper idea. I just purchased one, I am eager to see how it works on them. The best drug to get in my opinion is triclabendazole. I was traveling in europe and was able to get it in france with a pescription. I was very suprised. It worked wonderfully well, it's just I had already ruptured and wedged a fluke within my bile duct and the flukes didn't have a way to exit my body because of the blockage. My naturopath's treatment plan is to take things to keep the bile moving. This is assuming that the gallbladder and everything else is intact. Take something that will slowly release bile and allow the flukes to enter the bile duct and follow the bile into the intestine. At which point, she says she can kill them quite easily. If I hadn't gone crazy so to speak, I think this might have worked. It's just that a fluke can't get lodged in there. There are many inherent risks of having these things. I hate it. But, if you can, try and get the triclabendazole. Another good way to dilate the bile duct is thru a coffee enema. One has to be sure that one uses organic coffee specifically made for a
coffee enema as well as not having any
Gallstones large enough to block the duct. Which with this condition may not even be possible? I wish I could be of more help.
