Did my first REAL sitz bath yesterday, actually 2 of them. I was surprised when I learned here that sitz aren't just for soaking and chilling out, and that it's a powerful cleansing practice. I skin brushed both times and soaked in Epsom/Baking Soda in very hot water for about 30 minutes, and then hit myself on the tummy and er, my exit point with some just freezing cold water as I wanted to make sure it was cold enough. I've been juice fasting for two days to start the new year so my tummy is empty and thanks to a very aggresive colon cleansing routine over the past two years, I know that it's pretty darn clean. Anyway, I wake up today and have a really easy BM. I get up and look and I recognize some nasty muccousy (sp) lymph. Not satisfied I grabbed one of my latex gloves and investigated. At the bottom to my amazment was three good handfuls of some of the weirdest, well it was like what it's been called, mud. Now I won't go into exactly why at this point, but I am very familiar with what comes out of my body, and I have NEVER seen anything like that. I'm blown away. Thanks MH and everyone else who helped me find this wonderful tool. Off to sitz!!!
