Sometimes people get reactions from the substance (drugs, herbs) because the substance is toxic. Mebendazole is a low toxic drug based on my experience and the experiences of others, so you are likely getting die off. Albdendazole is a close cousin and is likely more effective and I believe has better properties in disseminated infections. You can read ICU's information on this. Tweet
