Re: Silvergen ppm setting??

Thanks I will try the middle 10 ppm setting. I'd rather not have any oxidizing or extra particles to filter out anyway.

Update: I just got this email from Trem, the Silvergen owner...

Hello Chris,
Thanks for your inquiry.
Dial setting has little to do with PPM other than it sets the shutoff point.   There is no magic PPM number.  It’s all the same.  All that counts is how much is ingested.  More of a lesser PPM is the same as less of a higher PPM.
What are you measuring PPM with?  A TDS meter perhaps?
10-12 hours seems quite high.  It’s usually done in less than 6-7 hours in a quart.
I hope this helps you.
Best regards,
Trem Williams...

So I guess ill just drink more of the 10ppm instead of less of 20. I don't have any measuring device.

Will starting a batch with near boiling water create more of a balanced colloidal/ionic solution, anyone know? I was told this by some pretty knowledgeable people on this forum. Also, I wouldn't mind covering both grounds of silver supplementation.

One more question about the capping. Isn't adding anything extra essentially doing what Paul Karison did? (The blue man)
