Hey Thirdyear. We have a similar case. Large amounts of table Sugar set me off too. Table Sugar is 50%glucose and 50% fructose so I switched to pure glucose (glucose =dextrose, corn Sugar can be found at a brewer supply store good for baking) and sweet n low (disgustingly fake). Beware of any processed meats bc they add honey or brown sugar as well.
Also, dig enzymes work well but the other poster is right, the Rx version is better. Be careful with Betatine HCL. I used them and it made me worse...found out most versions of this are made out of red beets and they have a very very high sugar content. I seem to do better with lemons or limes in my drinking water instead. So try out the HCL but if you go backwards, you know why. Lots of good Fruc Malabs sites on net & forum on Yahoo. Brown rice is a no no as well.
