Hi everyone. After researching through the web for a couple of days I finally found this website which has given me new hope... I have been wanting to start a Water Fast for about a year but have failed to do so because of fear. Until I came here I was very skeptical about the use of fasting. I have read that you should drink juice for at least a week before fasting but I have also read that the best thing is to start it when it feels right.
To me it feels right right now. I want to start tomorrow... If I don't make it I will try again. I just want to know if it is safe for me to start a Water Fast if I haven't drank juice for a week before? I know drinking juice might make it "easier" for me but I think I can manage a little discomfort. If I just "dive in" so to speak can I still achieve results. Will my body heal and restore itself?
Another question is that I am a musician and earn my living playing guitar... Will that affect my playing? I mean that because my fingers are in constant contact with the steel strings. I have developed strong thick skin on my fingers because of my constant playing, but still wanted to know. So basically, can I start my fast tomorrow as long as I rest and am in a stress-free environment, and can I still play guitar?
