You may not have treated it long enough or eliminated the cause. Aren't you on a treatment that works on inflammation currently? It's my understanding that this kind of behavior is very common for conditions like eczema, allergic dermatitis etc. I'm not saying for sure this is the case because it's hard to be 100% certain about anything with EC, but I'm not seeing any better theories out there and doctors seem to be pretty sure about it. Also, if you look through the Image Gallery I think saying that MOST of these peoples' lips are inflamed would be more than fair. I can't say that everyone's cause is the same but Inflamed lips peel. When the inflammation is gone, why else would they peel?
