Oil of Oregano used to brush teeth
I just got the book "The Cure is in the Cupboard", which is all about Oil of Oregano. It's a fascinating book. One of the things mentioned is brushing your teeth with OOO. I never use toothpaste, just a toothbrush and sometimes some baking soda, so I thought I would give it a try for purely cosmetic reasons...it says in the book that brushing with one drop of OOO a couple of times a day can whiten your teeth, which I found interesting. It also says that it's fantastic at dissolving plaque, which is always a plus. It also says that OOO "tightens the gums", and I thought...ok, whatever that means.
You have to understand that since I've been a little kid, whenever I brush my teeth, my gums bleed. A lot. Probably about a teaspoon or so every time, that's how much I spit into the sink.
So I put one drop of the diluted oil (the bottle that's mizxed with safflower oil, so it wasn't full strength) and brushed my teeth. I went to spit out the OOO and of course, the blood, but there wasn't any blood. For the first time since I was a kid, there was no blood. Weird. So that must be what the author meant by "it tightens the gums". I thought hmmm maybe this is a fluke.
But it wasn't! I just brushed my teeth again, about 8 hours after the first time, and again there was no blood. This OOO is awesome stuff - so far it's tightened my gums, gotten rid of my chronic dandruff, and stopped my inner ears from itching. And this is just the weaker OOO, not even the full strength stuff.
I almost can't wait for someone to get sick so I can use it on them...lol.
I highly recommend the book (I got it at Amazon) - you'll be amazed at all of the uses for it.
