Chitin Inhibition may be key

I do not have a vested interest in this and passing this information out, I have not researched it in length and you should read more about this.

Chitin is a long-chain polymer that forms the cell walls of fungus and exoskeletons of many things such as lobsters, insects and parasites, nematodes and some protozoa.

I have been reading about Lufenuron which is a drug designed to eradicate chitin thus disabling the pathogen. Apparently it is quite safe since it does not become absorbed by the liver or kidneys: http://lufenuroncandidacure.owndoc.com/lufenuron.pdf
