Sometimes I'll have that amount a few times a day. But I had to back off because garlic is a natural blood thinner and I was personally starting to get a lot of bruising (unless the bruising was from the parasites..). Once I ate so much garlic by itself that my stomach started burning like fire and I felt so sick to it. Had to drink lots of water. But I could feel something slashing around in there.
Chewing on parsley afterwards really helps the smell on your breath. And you could always brush your teeth and tongue, too.
